Summer season is the prime season to purchase lake property. Water levels have been at full pool all summer.

Georgia had a higher median sales price for the first time, beating SC by almost 200K. Most preferred water is Anderson County and Hart County- these two counties have deep water.

Sales overall for Q2 were slow with 9 months of inventory of homes on the market over 1MIL on both sides of the lake SC and GA

According to the 2022 National Assocation of REALTORS Profile of Home Buyers and Sellers Report. The largest percentages of homes purchased in 2023 were located in suburbs and small towns. With 29% in rural areas.

American's MOVED in 2022. The median distance between the home that recent buyers purchased and the home they moved from was 50 miles. This is a significant increase in distance moved, as the distance between 2018 and 2021 was a median of 15 miles.

28% of all surveyed home buyers purchased their current home because of the acerage.
